Queensland Rallying

Welcome to the home page of Queensland Rally Promotions! We are a new club on the Queensland Rallying landscape with the goal of promoting Rallying in Queensland. Rallying is alive and well in this state, we have three series run concurrently every year, the KCF Rallysprint series, the ever popular Philcomm Clubman Rally series and of course the prestigious Queensland Rally Championships.

So what's been happening?

We're already two rounds into the Queensland Rally championships for 2001 and the big news is that it looks like Tristan Carrigan is going to give this championship a real shake! He has already won the first two rounds of this year's Championship in his front wheel drive non-turbo Laser! The next round of the championship is Rally Queensland, Which is of course Queensland's round of the Australian Rally Championships. So come up to Kings Beach Park, Caloundra on Friday the 15th of June and not only see Possum Bourne and Neal Bates and the rest of the ARC competitors but also see just how hard these young guys are going!

Look out for us at the events! Members of Queensland Rally Promotions are spectator marshals at most events. We have drinks and snack food available at the spectator points and there is more substantial food available at Rally Headquarters. (This is usually supplied by local community organisations so please support them!)

QRP is at this time a small group of competitors and rally enthusiasts with the soul goal of raising the profile of  rallying in Queensland. We are more than happy to hear form anyone interested in Rallying! Whether you would like to become a volunteer to assist in the running of events or manning of spectator points or if you would just like to come out and catch some of the action.
