St. Catherine's Anglican Ministry Activities

Mens Fellowship holds a monthly dinner meetings and invites a wide variety of interesting speakers throughout the year. Membership is open to men, young and old, and pre-dinner drinks and fellowship begin at 6.30pm. Office bearers are elected annually at the November meeting, and the task of the office bearers is made easier by asking the members of the Ladies Fellowship to cater. During the year a number of Ladies' Nights are held, and the combined fellowship makes for enjoyable evenings.

Ladies Fellowship is a day-time group of women who meet monthly on a Monday morning for a variety of activities and outings. This group caters for wives and widows in the church congregation and beyond, and although fellowship is the prime reason for meeting, the Fellowship finds opportunity to provide a workforce in the parish, and makes significant donations in the parish and beyond.

Children's Church is held in conjuction with the 9.00 service at St. Catherine's every Sunday during School terms.

FLAK

St Catherine's United Soccer Club belongs to the Queensland Christian Soccer Association Incorporated and fields teams in the Saturday competition arranged by that association.
The Rector of St Catherine's Anglican Parish is the Club President.
Teams of boys and girls are fielded in Under 7 and Under 8, six-a-side, on reduced size fields and have no premiership. Older teams include boys and girls and play in premiership competitions. Games are played in the winter season. The home ground is Peter Lightfoot Oval.
